It gives me immense pleasure to reach out to the prospective students of Bachelor of Performing Arts (Theatre) programme.
Starting this four year programme affiliated to Goa University and approved by Goa Government is one of the major achievements of my tenure as a Chairman of this prestigious institution. We are now moving in the third year of the establishment of this college which in my opinion has a long way to go.
We have tried our best to provide all the facilities that are required to run this programme and to make it one of the most sought after programme in the field of performing arts in coming years.
Having self-learnt the art of theatrics I always felt that such a specialized programme will provide solid foundation for the aspiring theatre artistes of Goa.
Kala Academy Goa being the apex institution in the field of art and culture and having the world class facilities, it was but natural that this programme has been started here. Kala academy Goa aspires to transform the raw talent that we have in our younger generation into a polished professionals who are going to make their mark in the field of performing arts.
We are committed to the cause of art and culture and look forward to expand our academic offerings in other branches of performing arts as well as to offer post-graduate education and vocational training in coming years. We also wish to encourage research in this field with a special thrust on contribution of Goa and its artistes in the field of theatre.
